These are a few more coin related medals I picked up at the Garden State Numismatic Society Convention show on Thursday. These are fun to collect because the engraving is usually outstanding on them and the themes are interesting. They're also very inexpensive, usually form about $2 to $6 apiece. The most I ever paid for one was $20, but that was for a silver medal so I had to pay a premium for the bullion value. The white medal is actually enamalled, as are several other examples of the GSNA issues that I bought. They're different and were only a buck apiece. Thanks for looking. Bruce
Very nice Bruce!, I really like the Chattanooga medal. They are all really nice finds! Congrats and Thanks for posting them!
Some of them do have really nice designs. I like your Nebraska Buffalo. Kinda dwarfs that building. Chris
Yeah Chris, that buffalo is the big boy in the room no doubt. I like your medals, especially the TAMS medal. It's funny, but I've been a member of Tams for a long time but never bought any of their medals. I better get with it or they'll throw me out of the club. :smile Bruce
That TAMS design is one of my favorites, too, and I'm not even a member. LOL! Did you notice that the Pittsburg ANA "borrowed" the PA SQ design? Chris
You think they would have come up with something a bit different Chris, but what ever works I suppose. I like the 2000 ANA medal too...solid gold right? I do have a few ANA medals, but don't remember what years they are. Thanks for posting your pics. Bruce
