    Hey gang!

I recently bought this coin and had it graded. I am however having trouble finding a good reference... or even an example that has been sold recently. The Chinese coin market has been hot lately with some coins selling for many times the current catalog prices. I'm thinking this might be one of them... because I can't find squat about it.

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

I read in either NN or Coinworld recently about these. The article said they had been red hot, but the market has started to mellow to slow and steady. It didn't give specific prices, though.

Its a great coin, I wish I had it since I was born in the year of the monkey.

Lets us know how much they are going for in the US here when you find out please.

I found the same record manymore. I decided to list it on Ebay at $1,399 with a best offer function... it sold in less then 10 minutes... at $1,399... I think I might have under priced it..

Well I am sure you did well. You never know with both the gold market and Chinese numismatic market nowadays anything can happen. I am seeing some crazy stuff in Chinese and Russian material right now.
