Can anyone help me with this penny? its a 1955 wheat that looks weird. it has an indent of a reverse year on the opposite side the year is. I know the picture is bad but just looking to see if anyone has seen anything like this and how this could have happened. Thank you penny.jpg

Possible squeeze job. The date is incuse and reversed so another coin was pressed into your coin. Most likely this occurred outside the Mint but it possible (although slight) that it occurred in the coin press. Better photos are needed.

Someone has squished it against another coin in a vice... we see these a lot. It's just a damaged cent.

Vise/hammer job. Not from mint. Two dates, 1955D and mirror image of 1952.
