Portugal 1891 200 Reis with toning - Post a Pretty Portugal Please People

I purchased this from a friendly dealer on Sunday. It is an 1891 Portugal 200 Reis with interesting toning. When most folks look at the obverse, they initially think it is a copper coin. Upon closer inspection it is a silver coin with interesting toning. The KM catalog shows a price of something like $25 in EF and lists no prices for UNC or BU.

I really don’t know much more about the coin. I showed the coin to another friend of mine & all he said was “nice coin”. Carlos I is depicted on the obverse. Carlos I ruled Portugal from 1889 to 1908. I look forward to your comments & please post your coins from Portugal.

    Thanks for letting me share.
