A soccer on a coins.

Hallo, my friends! Do you like a soccer? I like it very much, 'cos it is very interesting sport.
As I know, soccer's team of USA is rather strong. Russian soccer's team is a strong too.
So I thought: "lets go, Eugene! You must to make an interesting thread about a coins that devoted to soccer".

Nice Siberian Man! I have some soccer coinage too! I played for many many years. Love your coins.

 

as england is the birthplace of the game of course i am a football fanatic, my favourite team is liverpool, unfortunately the uk has only released 1 football related coin so far it was for the 1996 european championships which were held in england.

 

Well, England is where is became more organized. The chinese actually played football 3000 years ago...

 

Nice collection Evgeney. I was going to post this Argentina coin but you have a nicer example. Mine is struck off-center.

There is a USA commemorative half dollar with soccer on it. It is from when World Cup Soccer was in Chicago. If nobody posts it sooner, then I will take a photograph of mine tonight.

 

There are waaaay too many football related coins. Well, here is a Portuguese one that I find interesting. Issued for the Euro 2004 Cup in Portugal. It shows a goalkeeper who holds a caught ball in his hands:
