I submitted 39 Roosevelt dimes from this collection: http://bluccphotos.com/clients/craig/dimes/index.html 25 under Economy and 14 under Modern. Well I got the modern grades back today. Very happy. The 1958 is the biggie. Can't even find an auction on Heritage for a MS67 FT not to mention star grade. Can't wait to get the 1946-1954 dime grades back. 001 1955 S 10C MS 66 002 1956 10C MS 66 003 1957 D 10C MS 66 004 1958 10C MS 67* FT 005 1958 D 10C MS 66* 006 1959 10C MS 65 FT 007 1959 D 10C MS 66 FT 008 1960 10C REVERSE WHEEL MARK 009 1961 10C MS 66 010 1961 D 10C MS 67* 011 1962 10C ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE 012 1962 D 10C MS 66* FT 013 1963 10C MS 66 FT 014 1964 10C MS 66 :hail:
Thanks. Couldn't be happier. The rest are in Economy Tier and they are taking more than a month to grade. Hopefully I get some good results with the rest of the set.
I've been in love with those dimes since the first time you posted them! Absolutely beautiful dimes, with stunning grades to boot.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. My first toned set and very happy with the results so far. Looking forward to sharing the results of the 1946-1954 dimes when I get them. Wish me luck!
Yes. Hello. Since you are about to run out of space with so many dimes, I will do you a favor and start a Roosvelt dime collection. You are free to ship them to me, free of charge, and I will store them for you in a climate controlled, safe, evnvironment. Deal? Nice score!
We've only sold one NGC FT of this date at all, and that was a MS66 for $127. We haven't sold any 67 FTs from any service.
Thanks Stewart- Both NGC and PCGS have only graded about 5 total in that grade. Guess whoever owns them are holding on to them since I can't find any auctions for that grade. Hard to get a feel on the worth since no completed auctions.
Hey Craig, What type of album were those in? The background color looks like those vintage Mergrigh (spelling?) Is that what it is?
The dimes were in a Wayte Raymond album. I think I am going to run a contest to give away that album and a few other coins. Just need to think of some rules and the other coins besides the album to give away.
Oh yeah, I looked up Wayte Raymond albums and those are exactly what I thought it was. I have them for Indian head cents. Those dimes are so awesome I can't stand it! Those old albums sure do some beautiful things with the coins over the years. They must have some sort of sulfur or acid of some type in the material. Anyway, congratulations on those remarkable grades. Stunning. I put MS wheaties and memorials in my Wayte Raymond albums and put them away. Maybe my kids will enjoy the colors in 30 years
Thanks very much. I was blown away when I got the album in the mail. Be sure to look for my contest. You could be a proud owner of a Wayte Raymond Roosevelt album to go with your Lincoln Albums. The kids will be loving those coins in years to come!
