Can someone tell me what this Chinese is

    Hello Everyone

    I found this coin in a box of Pennys a while back and just sat it to the side. I picked it up again and have no clue what it is. It doesn't have a date on it and I can't seem to find it online.. Can someone tell me what this coin is. IMAG0090.jpg IMAG0089.jpg

    It's a 1992 Taiwan 1 dollar coin (worth about 3 cents)

    Thanks I appreciate it.. Guess I'll just keep it as my luck 3 cent coin.

    yes - 1992, that is year 81, they started in 1911, the reverse is upside down in your picture, that is a non-chinese 1.

    No, Pu Yi, the last Emperor, abdicated in February, 1912, which is commemorated as the first year of the Republic. That requires you to add 1911 to any Republic Year to get the equivalent western calendar year.
