Can you help me in identifying these 2 coins? the one with chinese writing has the same thing on the other side. thank you in advance
The last "coin" I believe is a medal. Could be Taiwanese or Hong Kong. If I am not wrong, the top phrase is some kind of idomatic phrase which could mean, "If you aren't working seriously, you will not enjoy later." And in the centre means, to be victorious.
The top one is an aluminum-bronze Syrian Arab Republic 10 Piastres, that Krause says doesn't exist. KM#106 is listed as being issued only in 1974 (AH1394), and the one in the picture is dated 1973 on the left and AH1393 on the right. Naturally, since everyone knows that Krause is infallible, yours is a figment of your imagination. The one listed had an unspecified mintage, but lists at 30¢ Unc.
Check back a few posts there was a similar coin to yours :thumb: also look under Egypt as that was the other part of the equation LOL De Orc :smile
Ya know I was on Coinvault site and saw an Egypt coin that had that same striking design as the one on the top right! What a beauty!!! RickieB
