Would some one tell me the difference in a 1909- VDB Lincoln Cent and a 1909 Lincoln Cent I looked at some on ebay.. and I can't see any difference in them. I really don't understand... I have a bunch of 1909's.. if I could tell what im looking for I might have one. This may sound like a dumb question.... but.... as I said I looked at both, I must need some one to tell me, because I sure didn't see any difference in the two coins I looked at. Thanks
On the reverse at the bottom of the coin, the intials V. D. B. will appear. The intials are the designer's--Victor David Brenner. Check out this auction to see what I mean. http://coins.heritageauctions.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=382&Lot_No=5215

No Jim,sorry to say but it is AU-UNC with a lot of the original lustre. If it was an S, it would probably be in a slab and/or or a safe deposit box.
