Lupinus here, I have not posted for MONTHS.

I had stopped coin collecting for a while but recently, some numismatic events happened that I had to post about.
Yesterday I got a '26 wheat in my change from a restaurant. I was genuinely surprised when I saw the wheat reverse but even more when I saw it was a pre-30! It is also interesting to note that this is the same restaurant where I got a 1904 IHC in my change.................

    ......must go here more often.

Has anyone else gotten a dime where it was clad, but there was so little copper showing that it looked just like a silver coin?

    Man, that was disappointing.

I'm not trying to be rude, but CoinTalk.com you guys need to fix your ****! I'm running IE on a 2.5 month old machine.. Why do I need to click 45+ times to read a sentance?? (that is on 75% zoom btw).

Bottom line I love this thread and wanted to post my coin show finds, and roll finds, but nope I'm not gonna play this game.

    GL!

Running Internet Explorer is your problem to begin with. Join the 21st century and switch to a better browser. Either that......or your settings are whats screwy. My machine is more than a year old and I run Fire Fox with NO problems what so ever.

Box of halves... 1978s clad proof, 2002 nifc, and a 1921 British penny.

I like Chrome, but they are horrible about letting things like Java/Flash update in the "background" ....one day, using Chrome, I simply could not upload pics to this forum (the app didn't "pop up") Luckily, I have FF as a backup.

Also, firefox 4 is pretty nice so far :hail:

    Firefox/chrome for the win.

Another contaminated box of dimes today, did yield 1 silver though.

+1 for FF/CHR, sweet on the dime,...at least its one. I've had rolls I snagged w/ "silver" dimes in them, only to find out they were crummy newer Canadian dimes....not only what it NOT silver, I was also down 10 cents!
