That is the first year or the silver eagle. The packing it's in looks like it is from Littleton Coin Company and is not original mint packaging.

Probably around $41-43 right now. You could have got over $50 for it a week ago.

It's silver...so anywhere that buys silver will buy it. eBay might fetch you the most money for it as it might sell for a little above melt, but any local coin dealer will take it I'm sure.

I don't see anything worth more than melt. All the half dollars (1964 and older) and 90% silver and so are the 2 silver dollars (1921 and 1923). They are common dates and well worn...so they are worth melt value. You can find up to date melt value here: http://www.coinflation.com/silver_coin_values.html

The $2 bills and Susan B. Anthony Dollar are worth face value. The older cents, nickel, and dime are worth a little over face (the dime is silver so worth melt at least...I can't get a good look at it to see if it's a common date or not but it likely is).

Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. This forum is here for learning and we are happy to help. :)

The bullion eagles are selling for $5-$7 over spot depending on where you sell it, i.e craigslist.com, eBay. The 86 eagles with any kind of premium over spot are the Proofs with some selling as high as $85 on eBay.
