Hi Folks, Just got this today, a two shilling piece from British West Africa (1946H) in PCGS MS66....no values on grades this high but already been told by a trusted dealer I paid too much.....never mind, nice looking, the coin, not me.
I feel a complete fool as I've now seen the same type coin in MS65 sell via Heritage Dallas (2009) for about 65 bucks. I think I paid about 6 times that.......impulse buy, a real killer.
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better - Samuel Beckett. I have learned more from my mistakes than from my successes - Humphery Davy. Ow. That smarts considerable. I won't do that again - Texas John.
Coin addiction just means that I get so carried away when I see a big auction dedicated to high grade coins I fail to do the research. Sold two coins this week for big profits so not as painful but still painful. Also bought a coin I didn't want this week by clicking the buy button a fraction of a second too fast!
