Dug this out of the 90% bag, 1879 S, and no, not the variety rev. But I noticed what looked to me at first glance to be a die clash, but then it looked more like PMD or maybe even struck through something. The shape is very regular and kind of postage stamp edged. If it was PMD it had to be something VERY tiny to make such a regular mark and so small, without magnification it looks just like a typical small nick. what do you think?
