Please help identifying these 7 coins as well as the dates on the japanese coins. Hopefully the scans are good enough

#5 is a brass 5 yen. The light reflection off the mylar is blocking my view of the first date character, so all I can tell you is that it is either Showa 24 (1949), Showa 34 (1959), Showa 44 (1969), Showa 54 (1979), Showa 64 (1989), or Heisei 14 (2003).

    #6 is a cu-ni Taisho 14 (1925) 10 sen, and $7 is a bronze Taisho 12 (1923) 1 sen.

#2, of course, is Israeli even though you apparently purchased it from a Japanese dealer..

#1 is from an Arabic country, #4 is probably Turkish, and #3 is a big brown blob on my screen.

Roy, it's Showa 48 for the 5 yen or 1973.

Rlowe,I can tell you that it is not Turkish. It is a 5 Paisa from Pakistan. The reason why you got confused is because there has been 3 British Commonwealth countries that used a Toughra - Bahawalpur,Hyderabad,& Pakistan.

Of course you are right. I must have been dyslexic when I read "4","10" backwards. [IMG]
