ebay- is this real? it looks a bit too odd to me

    My last job in a printing plant ended in 1952, but from what I remember it looks legitimate. Keep in mind that currency is printed from sheets of paper, not rolls. If a sheet gets wrinkled before going through the press, then the sheet gets cut up before the wrinkle is straightened, the end result has that type of appearance. I am little bit surprised that it didn't get caught, and replaced by a star note, before getting out in circulation.

    Not hardly. :rolleyes:

    Just a printing plant that used similar equipment to that used at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving.
