Hello...I have a quick question about a recent coin I had submitted to PCGS...as I know longer use ANACS :smile. Coin is stated as follows:

    1713D 30 Deniers
Triple Reverse Struck EF-40 Scratched surfaces

What is the value of a triple reverse struck coin...especially on colonials? I will try to post pics as soon as I can...but any information on this would be great.

    Thanks,

    Dave

First of all it's not a colonial, it's a French coin. It was issued by Louis XIIII of France and struck at the Lyon mint. It had a mintage of 10,381,339. The fact that it is triple struck is pretty much meaningless and rarely adds any value to these coins as it's not that uncommon. I would guess value is about $65 - $70.
