Hi all, I'm new here and had posted this in my intro, and on the political site, then realized I had never posted it here in "Error Coins" (laughs) I found this in my loose change. It's the only one I've ever found, but it's a goodie.

Any idea on what this is worth? (I'm guessing $20 give or take, but total guess)

That's why I requested THIS thread be deleted. Attempted to minimize multiple thread issues.

 

I saw no such request. You said: "don't know if this thread is necessary anymore." which I don't think it a request to do anything. Plus, this thread has useful replies and why lose those? It would have been inappropriate. Also, I really think the error forum is the best place for this anyway. If the people who hang out here can't give you a value then nobody can.

 

Ok, I disagree, but it's done. I was more addressing Hobo's comment ...that I was attempting to lesson the confusion. I'm fine with it here, I just thought since I know what the error is ...and wanted to know what the value of it might be... that putting it in the other area seemed prudent (since it's separate from the general forums). I'll look up more info on requesting deletion so as not to anger anyone in future ...as much. (laughs)

P.S. I've removed what I could from the political site and explained that it would be better viewed here, and requested deletion specifically, though maybe not properly ...still looking for info on that. I still have it posted on my (thinks what it's called) "introductions/ new member"? post, but I don't think anyone is going to be confused over it (if not good enough, I'll delete THAT post). (I said I'd eventually post in a proper forum) Hope that clears-up any misunderstandings, and I'll be more careful in the future.

The problem with text is you can't "read" what the person is saying. It leads to misunderstandings. Sorry.

 

Hey IQless1, did you ever find out what it's worth?? I posted a thread about my lincoln in the "what it's worth" forum. Hopefully I'll get some answers. Don't seem to be many responders there so I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a reply lol..

 

Nope lol... see above. Oh well, not that important I guess.

 

This thread has only been up for 2 days...give it some time. Errors like these typically aren't worth very much, but sometimes they are. Since the coin is circulated, I would say it's worth a few dollars.
