Religious medal0001.jpg Religious medal0002.jpg I know this isn't a coin, but I'd like to find out something about it if anyone has any knowledge. I have a medallion, picture attached, which appears to be religious in nature. It has Latin writing both front and back. It is very heavy weighing in at 38.8 grams. Its 39mm by 45mm (54.5mm including a chain loop). I have no idea where I got it. It's made of either brass or bronze. The obverse has a bust of Jesus with the inscription (in Latin) "Savior of the World Save Us". The reverse has a bust of Mary with the inscription (in Latin) "Mother of our Savior, pray for us". Hopefully, someone will have come across one of these and know what it is and what its for. Thanks for taking a look, Regards, Bill

well, I agree with your translations.

That said, it does appear to be a religious medal.
