You do know that banks aren't obligated to sell you any boxes right?

Yes, I understand they are not obligated; when I am told by the manager (a family friend) that I have to order a box of halves, and I order a box of halves, twice, I kinda expect my order to be filled. Therein lies my frustration...

    Moonshine/Jasenbay.....NICE finds!

    I did a box of dimes yesterday....one 2009 D, two 2009 P, and one 1957 Roosie :)

Nice find on the 2009's, bob, I find more silver than those, lol.

Opened up my box of cents, seeing lots of RB copper on the ends... usually a good sign. Pulled 2 wheat enders and also spotted a gorgeous '60-D on an end.

EDIT: The roll with the Wheat showing yielded 3 wheats, the '58 on the end was the only wheat in that roll, and the '60-D also had a '68-D in the roll. I think I'm in for an interesting box.

From a teller's tray, I found my first 1981 Anthony dollar in about a decade (My first one was from a post office vending machine in 2001, I spent it in 2006). Like the first one I found ten years ago, it was an '81-S.

I have yet to get an anthony form any of my normal banks. Got an ike once. But that was pure luck, they had just gotten it in.

Done that cent box, pretty solid... about 40 wheats, nothing later than '35. The BU count was verrrry nice.

    Not bad.

First stop today... 4 loose halves got me a 64. The other stops... about $30 bucks worth of halves got me nothing. Got 16 cents out of a coinstar.

    '60-D (63RD)
'61 (63RD) Beautiful color, some spotting holds it back.
'68-D (64RD)My bad, there was only one '68-D.
'68-S (62RD, 63RD, 64RD, 65RD) The 64 has some MD on the front, slight but noticeable. The last is a great strike, full steps on the reverse, a real rarity with the '68s. Probably taking the place of my other '68-S in my BU set.
'69-S (64+RD) Stunner. My favorite coin of the lot. Luster just drips off this coin.
    '70 (64RD)
'70-S (63+RD) Eye appeal of a 65, shame that one bad scratch running through the date knocks it down a bit.
'74-S (64RB) Reverse looks like it was on the end of an exposed roll. :( I think it might be an S/D, but I can't find any RPM's for the '74-S... Definitely looks like something is under the S.
    '79 (64RD)

Nice box, walkers are always a welcome find.

Ended up upgrading the '60-D, '68-S, '69-S, '70, '70-S, and '79 in my set, wow. Best 1 day score of BU's for me, I think, ever.

Once I found a full roll of BU 1963's and 1956's. It was awesome.

Wow, that is awesome. I seem to pull a BU wheatie appx every $500 searched or so. Pretty tough to find 'em these days.

Best silver day ever! 1 box of dimes and 20 rolls of halves yielded:

    silverscore5-3.jpg

Nice mix of 6 silver dimes and a 1968 half. And check out that 1964 dime at the bottom, so pretty and shiny!
