This is a great story. If you haven't gone to the Heritage link above and read the description and story behind the coin, you need to. The great people of Coin Talk are to be commended for their great advice and encouragement to this young man. And to you coin20, I hope this coin brings full retail (although I doubt it) which would be around 37k. Realistically I see this coin around 30k.

I remember when I first saw this thread, and I'm happy to find out that the coin is real. The story's absolutely wonderful, and our cataloger did a great job of telling it.

It's almost an year now since i found this forum.

The coin sold for $42,500, and this is $48,800 with Buyer Premium (taxes applied to the buyer).

I will remain very grateful to Heritage in Dallas Texas for the very good assistance and support they provided, think it shows what they have based their success on (no hidden comercial here, but 2 of their man had a great impact in helping me).
