$160 in cwr's of halves I picked up on sat... nothing. Was supposed to have a box to look through but the bank said the supplier was "out". Talked with one of the tellers, she said that there are 5 or 6 people that order boxes there and some order 5 or 6 a week. I guess my one or two a month is no big deal. Maybe one will show for me this week.

$10 in Brinks cents. 35% copper, pulled a few misc BU's including a great 1986-D (yeah, common, but really nice!). Only 7 wheats (42S, 42D, 44, 44, 48, 56D, 57). And a 1948 Canadian George. All in all nothing special, but fun. Had a couple rolls that were more than 50% copper...weird.

The other box I got from Friday and the box I got on Saturday were both Skunks. I did pick up 3 red seal $2 bills (I posted them in another thread) on Sat., so it wasn't a total waste.

I was wondering the same thing? If it was pulled from an unopened roll.. it would make since. But the fact that it was pulled from a mixed roll.. I can't see how that would be unc.

searched a roll of dollar coins today. Found a loonie (Canadian dollar coin) and was like WTF? I know I only live 45 minutes from the border but what the **** is this doing in my roll?

Any coin found anywhere can be uncirculated if it shows no signs of wear. It's a technical thing, not a literal thing.

Last box of cents from sorority girls was another dud, only 10 wheats or so, some weird foreign, regular amount of Canadians, and a couple BU '70's.

I didn't really find anything in my CWR of dimes ($160) nor the new rolls of halves ($80). But, I went to the soda machine today and got 2 for the price of one...stupid machine LOL :D (evil grin)

I went around and got about 25 rolls of halves, some BWR, some CWR. Best score I've ever had in a day, actually. Two rolls with one 40%er each, and 3 rolls with 41 40%ers between them. Still hoping for a roll of Walkers someday, but I was pumped about these 43 40%ers. 43 40%ers apr 30.jpg
EDIT: I know the pic is poor, it's a cell phone pic. But it doesn't really matter.

Did a box of halves over the weekend and found 6 40%, some NIFC, and a 1987D! That's my first 1987!

Some nice finds there goldmember and Lon.

I got a box of halves this morning. And hit 6 40%, and 1 90%. The 90% turned out to be a 1960 Frankie, my first! I was pretty stoked to find that. Now I'm hooked on halves. This is the 4th box I've done this year, and finally hit silver. The box was a really small box, I'm guessing that would be Brinks? All the other boxes I did this year and last year were String & Sons, from a different bank.

The tellers said they would order more for me, and that I will have another in by Friday. Also I told them what I was doing, they were interested b/c they have so many people asking about them. I explained to them about the silver. They were very friendly and thought it was cool.

    Good day for me. Box of halves yielded 2 Walkers ('37 and'40), 1 '64 and 3 40%ers. $100 in dimes yielded a Merc ('45).

My first full roll of silver!

Picked up 15 cwr's of halves today at one bank. Going through them and finding nothing. The third to last roll looks "older". It had 19 40%'s and 1 90% JFK. The rest was a skunk but who cares. I think this is my best one day find.

    Short Rant

Went to my bank today, expecting the box of halves I ordered last week (asked twice to make sure it would be ordered), and NO BOX!! Of course because I went to pick it up later in the day, I was too late to order a box for Wednesday delivery. After I asked what the problem was, I was told they might be able to get it for Wednesday's delivery... If there is no box on Wednesday, the manager (my wife's friend) will be hearing from me. GRRRR...

Full report on Friday, but been through 90 CWR dimes - SKUNK!! :heated:

Do you guys find CWR-D's better than BWR-D's? Or vice versa?

(Man, I'm fuming about my screwed up box delivery!)
