I found a 2003 dime that looks like copper exposed on both sides. I am just starting to learn a little about coins and was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this or if I am just a rambling fool? Thanks for the imput.
sorry it took so long but i had trouble with the pictures. and i don't know about the weight. i put it on my food scale and it said 2 grams. now that you know i'm a total girl i will respect hobo and keep his weight a secret. thanks all.
ps. just in case you think i'm stupid, a food scale was as good as i could get. i don't really have anything else to weigh it on.
The likelihood of the clad layer being missing on both sides of a coin are very remote. I think your coin is stained or toned.
