Hello everyone! Its been a while since i was on these boards, to long ;( I am swamped with a total home renovation project... If you have ever remodeled a home you know why i have been absent, for those of you that have never done so it takes a lot of time and $$$$$ so most of my coin money has been going to light fixtures and floor stripper any who... I ordered a complete set of the Benjamin Franklin commems, i received an order confirmation e-mail but my credit card has not been charged. They do say that it is expected to ship in April. The web site now says that the coins are not available.. am i going to get the franklins? or am i out of luck? I am confused
Hey Ranchand...more than likely your order was received and reserved...I would say you have a 80% chance..mine say the same thing...so keep those fingers crossed... RickieB
ranchhand, Not to worry, they never charge your card until it's time to ship.My instinct is that most everyone who got in under the wire will receive their coins.I've ordered every commem for the past few years and have never had an order cancelled yet.Of course,as we all know, the mint can be fickle at times.Keep the faith.
You should receive your sets. I went through the same thing last year with the coin and medal sets. The date for shipment may change. The set I ordered was sold out for almost three months before my CC was charged and shipped my sets. I was told last year that if you received a confirmation for the order you would receive the items. Your CC will not be charged until the item is ready for shipment. At least that is my experience but you can never tell with the Mint or the overnment.
IF and only IF he decides to sell right away ... one never knows - he may decide to keep for his collection
hoping the mint will deliver to me i ordered mine one day before the mint say it will not accept anymore order. i don't know if the mint will deliver it to me. right now mine is backordered and expected to ship on april 30. my order date is jan. 28. any idea?.
cool! i am looking forward to getting them, I plan on putting them in the collection... So are they already worht $$$ over the purchase price?
