    found this penny in some roll searching last night although there is some normal ware I am looking at the E and the R what do you think 003.JPG 001.jpg

    my same thought I was just wondering on the E missing the center line and the way it is some what curled but i agree with pmd looking for a second thank you

    Yeah, if the rest of the coin were pristine, I'd say look at it under a microscope or something. But the shear amount of damage on the rest of the coin wouldn't help any legitimate case for an error. Nicely detailed photos by the way!
