I hope everyone is enjoying the Easter holiday weekend. Please post a coin with the Easter holiday theme. You might post a Maundy Thursday theme, a Good Friday theme, an Easter Sunday theme or anything you want. It would be great to see another Easter Bunny on a coin. Have a great weekend everyone.
Just a quick note on Easter... stopped by the bank today to pick up my usual stash of dollar coins... the teller said "all gone, everyone is getting them to put in those plastic Easter eggs".
You realize that 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit on the Chinese Zodiac/Calendar. As such, it may be fitting to include some photos of the 2011Year of the Rabbit coins: NOTE: The following links may lead you to a website offering the coins for sale. I put in the link so you may see the coin/s. This is not an endorsement of the coin, its offerer, the price, nor is it a disapproval of same. If not interested as an Easter memento, a collection of coins featuring bunnies, hares or rabbits, it might appeal to you as a birthright keepsake as those people born in 1927, '39, '51, '63, '75, '87, '99 and, of course, this year (2011) were/will be born in theYear of the Rabbit.
