Mexican Villa Restaurant Draft Beer Token, value or any info-California?

I am, wondering what this token is worth, when it was made or any other information? Listed, unlisted and history of the token or mfg or restaurant? :thumb:

Your token is listed in Kappen's 1976 edition of "California Tokens". There are four tokens listed for Rough and Ready, California (in Nevada Co.), two were issued from the Mexican Villa, the other two were issued from Secession Days. Kappen lists the Mexican Villa tokens both at $0.65 (as compared to $0.25 for the Secession Days tokens). Your token is the first on the list. The second Mexican Villa token is dated 1974, so I would assume that your token was issued prior to that, but I am not certain.

The town of Rough and Ready is not listed in Stephen Album's 1971 reference on California tokens.

Later supplements for both Kappen's and Album's works did not provide any additional information.
