    Leadfoot there is no spoon

    67 is my guess
obverse may be a 68, spots on reverse hold it back, IMO.

I voted 67, but it would not surprise me if it got a 68.

No cleaning. You're probably seeing die polish hairlines.

If hairlines don't cross devices then they are normally the result of Mint workers fixing up a working die (with few exceptions devices are incused on working dies and spared from polish lines).

I'm surprised there aren't more guesses. Something about steel/zinc cents that puts forum members off?

The conservative PCGS grade may surprise you.

Sweet 67 IMO. I don't know if the polishing marks on the reverse would harm the grade.
    Love the pictures BTW.

Think you gave it away there. ;)
For that reason I said MS66.

If I were grading the coin, I would've said MS67. The coin's obverse is outstanding, but the reverse has various blemishes, and the edge of the coin isn't the prettiest thing in the world.

    Very nice coin though. :)

    Ike -

In the future you need to come up with some other type of system to title your threads like this to keep them separated from rlm's threads. You can't use the same title and sequential numbers that he is using. It's too confusing for everybody.

Maybe we should have this be Guess the Grade B1, and all other longterm Guess the Grades would use C1, D1, etc. Rlm wouldn't have to, since he has done 200 of them, and he does them all the time

Apologies. I didn't know that another member owned "guess the grade" posts. I thought I was just following suit so I picked the next unused number. Guess I won't do any more of these.

Why "Ike"? These are not Eisenhowers. Seriously, my handle is LKEIGWIN, my first initial and last name.

tomenyeagles - I meant to apply "conservative" to PCGS, not the grade assigned. Should have said it better.

He doesn't own anything, others post guess the grade threads all the time. But rlm has a long ongoing series of them going numbering from 1 through 200 with every one of them his.

All I'm asking you to do is to not use the same sequential numbers he is using so as to avoid confusion for everybody.

Sounds reasonable. Thank you for the clarification. I'll be sure not to step on toes again.

Sorry, Rim! And nice Lincolns, BTW. I'm a fan of wheaties. Here's my set.

Apology accepted, but it is not I you need to apologize to.

That is one heck of a set you have there. I will accept anything you would care to donate to me.

Well then, who? The mods? Sorry! Long ago I learned how easy it was to say "I'm wrong" or "I'm sorry". I'll never understand why some folks don't get this.

I actually have more fun with this set. High end wheaties are pricey and stressful. A raw XF set is more satisfying. Do you need any early VF wheaties, Rim? I have some spares. No real keys, though.
