I'm looking to get a few of my favorite coins - CC Morgans, assorted shield nickels, walkers etc - and I'm wondering where fair retail prices are in the PCGS MS-65-66 range. Who are the most reputable, competative and fair in the industry.
    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum.

I'm actually looking to buy a decent CC Morgan in MS-64 for around $250. It really depends on the date you're looking for, some dates cost alot less in MS-65 and some cost alot more, est 1880-CC, 1881-CC, etc. I reckon you can get a common date CC in MS-65/66 in the range of $550/$1500 and those are random prices based on the NGC price guide. Shield Nicks are always nice to get, in low or high grades, as well as Walkers, just for their silver content. The only dealers that I have had luck in are coin shows, and local dealers. I might buy from this site online:

But when things start getting pricey, I'll go to a show or dealer. I've had really bad luck buying a real expensive coin from an auction site.
