Hello everyone! I'm new here so don't flame me if I misposted this. I recently started collecting and found this Cent in a roll. The missing toning is perfectly shaped like another penny. As if it were laying on top of it. Let me know what you think! Keeper or Junk?

Sorry about the photo quality. My camera just died and I took this using my cell phone. The reverse of the coin is evenly toned. I will post more pictures if there seems to be a buzz about it.

    Thanks!

I'd spend it. It must have been in a bag of cents at one time and layed on top of another cent for a while, while the cloth from the bag rested on the part that is now toned.

First of all, welcome to CT.

If you are asking if you could sell it and pay off your mortgage, no. It might make 2¢ if you are lucky. If you are asking if you should keep it because you like it, go for it.

WOW! Quick replies! So the consensus so far is it's pocket change. Thank you guys!
