I've spent hours laying out dime rolls and looking them over with a magnifying glass. I've actually dumped the last 3 boxes without looking at them because I'm just worn out. I'm staring at a jar of 2500 dimes right now debating whether I should start looking them over before I dump them tomorrow. By the way, I'm a chick
Haha sorry ma'am. Honest mistake. You should wait to look through them. Maybe split it into like three days so you dont get worn out and miss out on the fun of it
Sometimes Actually, it's not hard to do. I'm a multi-tasker. Right now, I'm watching TV, posting on Facebook, selling some stuff on ebay, reading the headlines, and looking through the jar of dimes I got today. I should be done with these in another half hour. No die cracks yet but a few toned dimes that I want to keep.
I'm getting about 1 a box but I got 3 the other day and 3 last weekend. As long as I find 1 silver in a box, I'm happy.
Wow! 2 boxes of dimes a day?! Does your bank force you to reroll them in order to redeposit the money back into your bank account or do they allow you to use a same denomination bank bag to throw them into (This is what my bank kindly lets me use to avoid the time consuming hastle of rerolling)? Also, out of all of the bank rolls you've opened from your hunts, what is the best coin you've found to date? -Brian
Couldn't tell from the rear.................um.................I mean, from the front...............um...............I mean, from the sound of your voice. Can someone help me get my foot out? Chris
I just take them to the free coin counter and dump them. And I think my favorite coin is my avatar pic. I call it The Spear.
Heh Most guys aren't named Cookey nowadays, but back in the 50s my uncle got the nickname Cookie and it stuck until the day he passed.
During WWII, just about every GI who cooked meals was nicknamed Cookie. My grandfather was a cook in WWI. Chris
