$30, not including the 1998 penny. Maybe anywhere from $50-$200 for the penny.

what's wrong with the 1998 penny? wide am?

  9. That's not a "wide am" cent...

That IS a wide A M. Look at the space between the letters A and M AND closeness of the M and E. Granted the bottom
tips of the A and M are close but they're not touching. I like to call this a close wide A M.

Ember. If we could get a picture of the entire reverse of the 1998 penny we will be able to tell you if it is wide or close. Since we are unsure as a group if the AM is wide enough, we need to see the initials at the bottom of the memorial.

The A and M aren't touching... it looks like the photo of one I've seen

here is the full back with both areas circled.. A and M aren't touching and the initials are up super close to the monument

Clearly looks like a wide AM to me. I think the price will depend solely on the grade (and if you get lucky with multiple bidders). In the grade it looks like in your pictures, I think 50 to 200 as stated above by someone else is not an unreasonable estimate. But be prepared to get less for it. I don't know what kind of demand that coin has.

Awesome! I would suggest getting it graded. Then the value will be a bit easier to predict. I think if it gets about MS 64 red or higher, then you'll get a good amount for it.

I took the liberty of trying to improve your last image of the 1998 reverse. It is not good but you can clearly see the top of the G does not extend over and beyond the vertical leg. That's a wide A M, G. And the
vertical leg extends a little below the bottom of the curve giving it the little nub, that's classic WAM G.
