I picked up this 1913 mound variety at our club meeting Wed night. I couldnt get the colors to show, but it has some wicked lite blue/ purple toning. It looks to be a somewhat weak strike on the obverse. Otherwise this is an absolutely beautiful coin.

Very nice smoker. Too bad the toning doesn't show up in the pic, but it's tough to pick up the colors at times. Sounds like a really nice coin. Congrats!

Very nice 1913 Type 1. Really collectable buffalo. Good for you. Looks like ms-63 to me

I was thinking MS 64ish myself. Gonna send it in when we send in a number of other coins.

I see your from Burke, do you ever got to the flea market at Double Tollgate? Several dealers set up each weekend and its a pretty enjoyable place to look around...

Bruce, I'm not bad at photography, but this is driving me nuts. LOL I have several nice toned coins that I just cant get to show up well in pics. I'll get it sooner or later.

Abe, thats in Winchester??? Thats about an hour from here and we didnt know about it. We may have to swing up there one weekend though.

Yup, just outside of Winchester. Its only open on the weekends and its a pretty busy place, if you decide to go, go early because it starts petering out around lunch time...
