Have you ever seen a Carson City with only one C

I wouldn't touch that trade dollar with a 10 foot pole. This "single C" CC mint mark, on the other hand, is the real thing. 93-CC VAM 4 had a stubborn filled die that caused the left C to be weak or missing.

I didn't reply to the seller, he messaged me twice more insisting it is genuine.
I'm nowhere close to an expert in this series so I guess I'll stay out of it. But it looks really bad to me.

 

Maybe we should double team him then see if he backs up if more people ask if its genuine.

1875 CC Trade Dollar XF Error a genuine 27.0 grams. Looks like the second c was removed.
