I've got a "Last of a Legacy" poster up on eBay and I'm beginning to think it's a really rare item. Is there a website that specializes in GSA advertising somewhere I can send information to? I'm looking to document the poster on websites like this one for future collectors. My dad bought a number of the GSA coins during the original offer period in the 70s (these have since been sold) and we found the poster in his office amongst the rest of his papers. The poster is printed on cardboard and has a separate cardboard backing with cutouts to allow it to stand on a countertop. There are two slots in the middle for a plastic brochure holder. The white/light lines that can be seen through the middle appear to be artifacts of printing and not from wear. At first, I thought this might be the sort of thing a coin shop might have but since Dad had an in-law with the local Post Office, that may make more sense as the original source.
I saw an article written online by Bryan Sonnier bsonnier@mindspring.com, in regards to the GSA auction of the late 70s or so. Maybe try to reach him and see if he can connect you to anyone he may know??
