    Russia 1840 1 kopek SPM. I wouldn't go over 5USD on that coin, although the market has been going at insane prices these days, so it's a bit unpredictable.

    There are 3 types of such kopecks in 1840 with EM, CПM and CM writings under the date. This coin is the most valuable though its price in Russia is not more than 5 USD :smile The other types are even cheaper.

    Tomppa,the monogramme is that of Czar Nicholas I (ruled 1825-55).

    Coopra,I hope that you don't mind me using the English forms of Russian monarchs' names & the English forms of the Russian denominations (Kopecks & Roubles).

    Looks like it was minted in St. Petersburg KM# 144.3. Looks in good shape so 5USD would probably do it.
