i found this odd penny. is it an error? is it worth anything? It has a "woody" look to it i couldn't find much info on this though. thanks for the help doods!
Hi jdog, :welcome: to cointalk! The "woody" look isn't much of an error. Sometimes the copper mixture isn't right, and it causes this. It's not worth considerably much, some people may offer like, a dollar, for it. But a lot of collectors, myself included, hang on to them, because they're nifty. That's a good lookin woody!! I've noticed a ton of woody's in the late 70's and early 80's while I'm roll searching.
