Hello everyone, I just joined CoinTalk about a minute ago. Lately I've been looking up coins I have and found results linking me to these forums, so I joined. I have a 2008 Liberty Nickel (D) and I can't find much about this one.
It looks like any normal one but. It has a yellowish center with nickel outlining. Is this anything special or is it just normal? (I just recently started to collect and research coins.

Alright, I'll try. I'm quite caveman when it comes to uploading a photo, never done it in my life. Can it be done with a webcam?
    Oh, and thank you. :D

Just for a future situation, the 2008 nickel is actually refered to as Jefferson Nickel (Forward Facing Bust). The Liberty "V" Nickel was minted from 1883-1913.

That is a normal-design nickel for that particular year. Commemorates Jefferson. The mint made many this year.
    Philadelphia P Mint: 279,840,000
    Denver D Mint: 345,600,000

It looks like a common jefferson nickel from the Denver mint in 2008. Mintage was 352,800,000. The yellow color is toning. The pictures are too good which makes it difficult to tell if it is natural or artificial toning. Either way, it is worth $0.05. On the good side, it has a melt value of $0.07 if it wasn't illegal to melt it.
