Is this coin off center? I don't know if this coin is off center or has some other type of mint error to it. The 1,9,and8 seem to be compacted a little. The nine seems to be missing its steam. there is a little bit of a ring around the coin that does not seem like it was human made or a post mint error. All help will be very useful to me!!

I vote PMD. Looks like somebody shaved it on off. Can you get a picture of the rim from the side? Can't tell what's going on there.

the metal does not potrud off the coin. the metal looks like it is missing, but the clad layer is still on top of the coin where the metal is missing.

PMD. Too symmetrical to be a planchet flaw, and certainly doesn't appear to be off center.

It's typical for this date. The date and LIBERTY hug a very thin design rim.
