I'm new to the Forum, so please excuse any stupid questions :smile.

I've got four ($10) rolls of Kennedy Halves. . . Two rolls in Resorts Casino wrappers, one roll in Bally's wrapper and one roll Harrah's wrapper.

The top coin in each of the Resorts rolls is a 1971, the date isn't showing in the Harrah's wrapper and the date in the Bally's wrapper looks like 1981.

My question. . . Does it make sense to "break" these rolls in search of silver or are they a better value "as is"?

    Thanks for your help/opinions.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

I don't see where there would be any value to them in the rolls. In all likelihood, they are probably all clad. I'd guess that the only people who might pay a premium for these rolls would be bidiots on FleaBay, possibly because they collect casino stuff.

I'd rip them open to see if there are any errors or varieties, but you have to expect that many of them are well-circulated.
