I'm beginning to think these are searched rolls, dumping site for someone. The first time, the bank had $450 worth, meaning $50 were keepers. I went to a 2nd bank, not near, but they had 2 boxes.

By the time they brought them out, they had the same folded/non-folded sides, and one teller stated "Yeah, those 2 boxes were brought in by a customer" Must have been skunk boxes to have 2 $500 boxes...so...

I agree w/ moonshine now, rolls like that are searched rolls. Now that I think of it, my other rolls had a pen circling one side of the "$10" probably to mark the ones they went thru.

I need to find virgin rolls ...sigh...

Yes, those are machine rolls which have been opened and recrimped. Time to find another bank as your supply bank. Use them as a dump bank.

Nice finds in the dimes. I am off tomorrow and the banks are open....lookout! Hoping to repeat my full roll of silver dimes from the last 2 weekends in a row. I got them from the same bank so you never know. Wondering if it's the same person and if they have cashed in any rolls of silver quarters...that would be killer. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

As I said, there is no doubt those are searched rolls. They open one end pull out the coins and put them back in and fold that end.

I picked up a box from one bank and 4 BWR from another: Skunk and Skunk. :( Going through a silver funk....

Bob, everybody else is having great luck with dimes, for the most part, lately... why not try some again?

Good idea. I'll be traveling through some some towns tomorrow, and I'll try halves there, but will pick up dimes back at home....

I found a "gold" bicentennial Ike for a dollar today :) ...are those 24k plated or toned? Its very "gold" even on the sides. I have a pic but its from my phone, very hard to see. I'll prob have to take another pick of it. Oh, I also got a 5 cent EURO and a 25 cent (?) Phillipino coin, both in the reject of the coin counter LOL.

This is the second EURO cents coin I've found in my area.
