I'm gonna keep doing dimes until I get skunked a few days straight... thinking 2 to 4 boxes every day.

Keep hitting them if your pulling good numbers.

I should never have mentioned I was pulling three's and fives, I've pretty much skunked out since then. I've had four straight skunk boxes with dimes and over $500 skunk cwrs. Looks like it's time to switch it up again.

Do you guys look through the roll or just the edges for silver when searching dimes? I'm contemplating getting a few boxes to search on Good Friday..

Smokerider and I are on vacation this week, so we intend to search several boxes a day. We have 3 boxes of halves coming in tomorrow. However, I've cleaned out two banks of their dime boxes and they won't have anymore until next week. So I have to go to other branches.

4th dime box in a row with no silver! Also, 5 full boxes of 2011p dimes. In the past week. 4 rolls of CWR netted 8 40%ers.

On the way home from work last night I found $280 in CWR halves. Skunk.

That is 62 skunk CWR of halves in a row found from 5 different banks.

    :(

Did the $280 all come from one bank? If so, don't you think they are dumps? I guess you have to take them anyway just in case.

$60 CWR dimes, $20 CWR quarters - skunk
$5 CWR cents: 2 wheats, '74 S, few others TBD (have to break out the magnifying glass to check for dd's)

Today, going to my "hot spot" to get my BWR of halves. I know of 2 banks (I have biz account with) that have over $2k in halves rolled :). Nobody else has found that source yet ...hehe...evil grin...they're all mine I tell you, mine!!!!!!!!

    Ok, done now :)

Well I went to my bank where I have my checking account, so that's where I dump my halves. I went to drop some off yesterday and the lady was like I have $200 in halves. So I took them, because I have not dumped in a while. About $150 was rolls I previously dumped, but the other $50 were fresh. Found 2 40%, so I was happy about that.

Good thing I wrote my name on the rolls, so I didn't end up searching my old rolls.

OH OH! I'm missing something. What dimes are 40% silver?

LOL, I never heard of them, I hope I'm not missing something as well, tossing these things back into my box :)

I just got into the roll-searching game, bought $70 in rolled halves at a small-town bank (pop. 3000). I got three 40% silver Kennedys (1966, 1967, and 1969). The 1967 looks pretty good, but the others are in pretty bad shape. Since I had all of them already in my Whitman, I thought I'd try to sell them on eBay. Long story short-I've caught the fever!

    No dimes are 40% silver.

Got $350 in CWRs of halves today. Found a full roll of 40%ers, 13 other 40%ers, and 2 90%ers. It was amazing. Had a huge grin.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, also got a 2000 S proof, a gold-plated (it seems, anyway) 2001 D Unc, and a 2 headed trick coin.
