Shelley, where did you get these coins? The first four you listed are heavily counterfeited and the 1906 Ellis Island is probably counterfeit because no such coin was struck in 1906.
Please don't post the same thread more than once. It's considered rude on a forum and just creates confusion. Here is the original posting with a lot more responses. http://www.cointalk.com/t169761/
I never said it was a bad idea, just please don't post the same thing more than once. I posted your photos in the other thread.
True, but I responded to what she posted. There are lots of 1903 ASEs coming out of China so a 1906 Ellis Island is not out of the question.
Good luck with other sites. They really love multiple threads about the same topic, and I'm sure they'll be able to use their psychic abilities to give you values for your coins sight-unseen.
I've never done this before jallengomez, I'm just trying to get information, I made a mistake. No need to treat me like a 2 year old.
I agree that previous comment was out of line. I hope I didn't offend you, you are new here and you aren't familiar with the educate. You made a mistake, someone (me) pointed it out, and that's the end of it. Lets everyone just move on with our lives. My comment was not made to be offensive, just to inform. There is no reason for any other discussion on the topic. Now, back to coins everyone.
You said that this site was a bad idea. If you meant by that that you are not experienced in posting to forums such as this, then I sincerely apologize. I thought that since you weren't getting the answers you were looking for, that you were criticizing the website. There is a wealth of knowledge at this site. I would sincerely recommend that you give it a chance and try to follow the requests of those who are trying to help you. I know that photos can be really difficult, and we all struggle with trying to capture our coins. We don't want you to get ripped off in the market anymore than you do. We're just trying to help, and we hope that you have some amazing coins for us to see!
