I found this dime that obviously post damage!!! But it was messed up to the point that I was curious as to what happened to it... Lets see some of the worst post damages you guys have.
Looks a bit like a roadkill specimen that may have been used as a spacer of some sort. The worst coin I've seen was one I damaged myself. It was not my goal to kill it, but I once found myself without a large screw driver (think 1/2 inch wide blade) and a very stuck sloted bolt. All I had available was a quarter and channel locks. I found out how "soft" a quarter is when I nearly twisted the top half of the quarter 180 degrees before the bolt loosened up. So basically, you could see half the obverse and reverse on both sides.....sorta Didn't figure I could spend it so I chucked it in the woods. Some decades from now, some metal detectorist will probably post it on a coin forum
xeno, Yours is going to be hard to beat.(pun intended) Here are two I've kept for whatever reason,a buffalo that looks like it actually rusted.I didn't know nickel could rust. Also a '43 steelie that got run over by something, train, cars, steamroller, whatever next to an almost equally worthless reprocessed steel cent fo size comparison.
