It's funny you posted your counterstamp iGradeMS70, I have one just like it except it's on an 1826 Half Cent. I collect counterstamps so it was nice to see another example of one I have. There are about a half dozen examples of this counterstamp known to collectors.

Here's 2. The Indian Head was one of my very first coins. My Mom bought it for me a long long time ago. I was probably about 10, maybe younger. I wanted the one with a hole in it so I could put it on a necklace. This was way before I collected coins.

The second coin is one I found in a bank roll recently. It's supposed to be a penny.

Your second coin almost looks like a rounded-out gold nugget from the photos you included. Very interesting piece! :b8nce:

I posted this one about two years ago and we couldn't figure out how it was done. But it was done a long time ago by someone with some skill. But why he did it we'll never know. He get his payback with interest, though.

Here's a rare one I found while going through a box of things that belonged to my dad. The date seems to be obliterated but it is otherwise good quality. Since I can't see the date I'm going to estimate maybe a 60's possibly 70's era coin. I must be rare because I can't find anything like it in any of my coin books. I think it might possibly be worth the cost of sending it to PCGS to have it professionally graded. LOL

I've always liked these pennies that have been put through a machine to print something on them.

EDIT: I just noticed that on the first one Bridge is spelled wrong.

Even though this is an older thread, it's never to late to post damaged coins. This quarter sits proudly in my collection, probably had a run-in with a lawnmower or similar destructive device...
