Input on a Yuan Shi Kai coin

    I'm new to collecting world coins and was just wondering if this piece is authentic or not. Please ellaborate on the details for my own future reference. Thank you for your time.

    not all Yuan Shi Kai coins are fake

    Most old Chinese coins circulating on ebay these days are, unfortunately, fake.
    I have a few of these fake ones too. They usually don't sound right. But even if they have silver tones, you will have to check for other features. That market is so saturated with fake ones, it's like assume it's fake until proven otherwise. :eek:

    Yeah, I never seen a Fatman with the 2 kanji symbols opposed before mustashe and behind neck.

    The extra characters are correct(Su left, Kan right), it's a Kansu Province issue.
