I have an Uncirculated 2005 P Half dollar, I want to know if it's worth anything? And what years are the half dollars that aren't meant to be circulated?
Your 2005 Kennedy Half Dollar, I am sorry to say, is most likely only worth 50 cents. From 2002-Present, Kennedy Half Dollars were not intended for circulation, so this means yours qualifies under that category, but honestly, the most you would probably get (And this may be from some kid on the side of the street that thinks it's "shiny") is $1.00 on a good day. Also, Kennedy Half Dollars were minted from 1964-Present, but since 2002 have not been released into circulation. You are still able to go to a local bank and order a box of half dollars if you didn't realize that. People do order these boxes and search through them for silver Kennedy Half Dollars, or the ones minted from 1964-1970. -Brian
