    Back to the silver part of the thread, from all your pics, I'm just not seeing it.
    You're sure those are proofs? They don't look like proofs to me, unless they were handled a lot. And I mean a lot.
    I can't see any mintmarks, but I'm pretty sure they aren't silver proofs.

    EDIT: Also, the edges (from what I can see) looks CuNi clad, not silver clad.

    They also made 40% Silver B.U. Ike's. Other than the Silver in them, they look like a regular circulated Ike. (The B.U.'s are whiter in appearance when new though) If the edge is solid in color then it's Silver...

    From the first photo, which is hard to tell but it looks like a Clad Ike???
    Is that a copper band on the Edge???

    BTW: The edge color goes for all 40% Ike's (B.U. & Proofs)
