Organizing Raw Coins

I am in the process of removing my lesser quality coins from their old Whitman folders and am putting them in stapled 2x2s and in pages that hold 20 2x2s each. The pages are made of archival polyester and I think they are about as safe as you can get with 2x2s.

But, I have a bunch of nicer raw coins that I would also like to organize but I haven't quite found a method I really like. I had been using Dansco albums...but I don't care for pre-made albums because the sliding plastic covers over the coins make me nervous, I'm worried about putting wear on my coins when I add other coins to the album. I also don't care for the fact that I can't design my own sets, the albums only have what Dansco thought they should. So, those are my 2 reasons for not liking to use those.

I do like having the organized in pages so I can flip through and see my coins. I would love to be able to make a custom album using some kind of an airtite (I really love the intercept shield holders)...but I haven't found pages that will happily accommodate them. Plus, labeling the coins is also a challenge with those. Does anyone here have a suggestion for me? I am very picky when it comes to these kinds of things and I'm having a hard time coming up with a system I like.

As I said, I have yet to find a way to organize air-tites in a binder that I like. I really prefer the intercept shield air-tites though.

I use 2x2 and notebook pages for a lot of coins. I also use Coin World slabs for the good stuff, and use MS Publisher to make lables... Lighthouse slab pages or PCGS boxes are good way to store the slabs...
All my Morgans I keep in Air-Tites and made some cool mint bags out of canvas to keep them in...
All my AE's are in Mint tubes.
Hordes like copper pennies or roosies I keep in mint bags I make...
Currency I keep in a custom wallet, again in canvas that I sew together with some sew on velcro...

Here's the a pic of one of my CW slabs...

BTW: I just arrange my 2x2 notebook into $1 - 50C - 25C etc... It will not be long before I go to a notebook per denomination...
