Please help 1861 bank deposit note

    HI, I got this a couple months back and wondered if anyone knew anything about it? and what it was worth? (sorry bad pic) Date is oct 4, 1861 and it says Augusta Savings bank 50 cent deposit.

    I canna say much more about it than it is likely from Augusta, Georgia and is a pretty cool early Civil War era note issued by a private institution in the South.

    Hey everyone... New here. I have the same exact item as pictured above. Anyone know an estimated value?
    When I bought mine the seller listed it as a 1839 Augusta Savings bank certificate though.
