The reverse is plain midas so I didn't scan it. There are a couple of very small brown stains on that side, but nothing that detracts. Bruce
Bruce, You inspired me to pick up an example of this note. I cannot wait to have it get here. The variety is slightly different and thought you would like to see it. These are the sellers photos. Best Regards ~ Darryl
That's a beautiful note Darryl...congrats on getting it. I don't know if you have Haxby's listings for NJ obsoletes, but if not it's designation # is NJ-115G6C. Yours is just as nice as mine if not a shade better. Mine has a couple of small brown stains on the reverse whereas yours doesn't as far as I can see. By the way, your variety with the Green "Five" is apparently the scarcest of the Egg Harbor $5's because Haxby values it about 25% more than the other varieties. Beautiful note. Congrats again. Bruce
Thank you Bruce, I don't have the book so I really appreciate the information! I can't wait to see if it is as nice as the images!
Beautiful Darryl. That's about as pretty as these old notes get. Now you got me looking for a green "Five". Thanks for posting the image. Bruce
